Microcredit as a strategy for employment creation: A systematic review of literature

چکیده

National governments and their development partners have considered microcredit as a strategic tool for vulnerable populations. Easy access to finance increases the client’s ability invest allows clients use resources change behaviour, increase business opportunities create employment. This paper aims review studies that focused on employment issues affecting beneficiaries, including gender-based creation informal sector. Through systematic search of electronic databases keywords identify relevant studies, 40 core articles are identified period 1998–2021. The results indicate significant impacts women’s revenue microenterprises in Moreover, few set out integrate gender sector with reference microcredit. A framework is proposed address relationship between structure Finally, this study recommends developing financial social accounting matrix run empirical analysis macro modelling such input-output or general equilibrium modelling.
